Refund policy

Effective Date: February 16, 2026

This policy explains how returns and refunds work for purchases made through Stern & Stern.

1) Return eligibility window

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

2) Return condition requirements

Returned items must be:

  • Unused (or in the same condition as received)

  • Packaged securely with any included materials/accessories

  • Returned with proof of purchase (order number/receipt)

For collectible items, please keep all certificates, tags, and inserts intact.

3) Items that are generally not returnable

Unless required by law or due to damage/defect upon arrival, the following are typically non-returnable:

  • Gift cards and digital items

  • Clearance/final sale items

  • Customized or special-order items

  • Items returned with missing parts, altered condition, or damage not caused by shipping

4) Return shipping costs

  • Change of mind / wrong item ordered: customer pays return shipping

  • Incorrect item / damaged in transit / defective on arrival: we cover reasonable return shipping after verification

5) How to start a return

Email info@sternandstern.us with:

  • Order number

  • Item(s) to return

  • Reason for return

  • Photos if the item arrived damaged or incorrect

If approved, we’ll provide return instructions and (if needed) an RMA reference.

Please do not send returns without approval. Unidentified packages may be delayed or refused.

6) Inspection & refund timing

After your return is delivered, allow 5–7 business days for inspection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Banks may take 3–7 business days to post the refund after processing.

7) Cancellations

If you request cancellation before shipment, we will refund your order minus a 5% processing offset (to cover non-recoverable payment processor costs). If the order has shipped, please follow the return steps above.

8) Damage or loss claims

If a package is missing or arrives damaged, notify us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date). Include photos and packaging details. For higher-value shipments, signature confirmation may be required for claim processing.
